062 MINSTAC - Tube Fitting System

MINSTAC, The Lee Company's Miniature Inert System of Tubing and Connectors, offers the ability to precisely manage and control flow rate, pressure, filttration, atomization, and other aspects of aggressive fluids.
The basis of the Lee MINSTAC System is the unique Collet-Lock system, which provides a leak proof connection from Teflon® tubing to the wide range of MINSTAC components and fittings, all without problems from Teflon®'s cold flow characteristics.
The 062 MINSTAC fitting system is for use with .062" OD Teflon® tubing and uses a .138-40 UNF fitting end. This system utilizes an internally threaded Collet that captures the outer diameter of the Teflon® tubing end, preventing cold flow. The Coupling Screw acts like a compression fitting and presses the chamfered end of the tubing against one end of the Kel-F® Ferrule. The other end of the Ferrule is pressed against the sealing surface in the boss by the Coupling Screw.
