MINSTAC, The Lee Company's Miniature Inert System of Tubing and Components, offers the ability to precisely control flow rate, pressure, filtration, atomization, and other performance factors of aggressive fluids.
The bases of the Lee MINSTAC System is the unique Collet-Lock system, which allows the user to chamfer PTFE tubing, and thread a specially designed Collet onto its end. This assembly provides a leak proof connection from PTFE tubing to the wide range of MINSTAC components and fittings, all without problems from PTFE's cold flow characteristics.
The 125 MINSTAC fitting system is used with .125" OD PTFE tubing and fits a 0.25-28UNF boss. The MINSTAC System utilizes an internally threaded collet sleeve that captures the outer diameter of the PTFE tubing, preventing cold flow. The chamfered end of the tubing is pressed against one end of the ferrule by the collet while the other end presses against the sealing surface in the boss. 125 &156 MINSTAC is compatible with 1/4-28 FLAT BOTTOM bosses using a special ferrule.
