LFAA Face Mounting Details



The Manifold Mount LIF series valves, Configuration I, are easily attached to solid mating substrates (manifolds) especially metal or plastic, per the following:
  1. Assure that the appropriate gasket is fit snuggly in position against the valve. The gasket area should be free of contaminants which would compromise the seal. The mating surface finish of the manifold should be 32 microinches, or better.
  2. Position the valve over the port holes of the manifold.
  3. Place the two #2 socket head cap screws (.140" O.D. MAX) adjacent on either side of the valve lead by the side slots. Torque both equally to 10-15 in-oz. (.07-.11 N-m). The valve is now mounted to the manifold.
