Bill has worked at The Lee Company full-time for 26 years and during summers back in the 70s. Before joining the company, he spent ten years in commercial lending and worked as a business consultant for five years. After that, he joined The Lee Company working on corporate development and strategic planning before assuming leadership of the Plug and Solenoid Valve Group. He has held numerous roles during his tenure including: Treasurer; Chief Financial Officer; President and Chief Executive Officer. In 2023, Bill retired from the position of President and CEO and is now Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Connecticut College, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of New Haven, and attended the Stonier School of Banking. He has been an active member of many not-for-profit boards and was recognized as the Greater New Haven YMCA Man of the Year in 1990. He was also inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame in 2017.
Professional associations include serving on the Board of Directors for the University of New Haven Center for Family Business and the Guilford Savings Bank.
Bill is a passionate advocate for private family businesses. His banking and consulting careers were heavily focused on the unique opportunities and challenges of family-owned businesses, mainly due to their long-term focus.

As President and CEO, Marietta is responsible for executive oversight of all financial matters, operations, engineering, management, and production at The Lee Company.
Marietta started working at The Lee Company in 2001 as a Facilities Manager. Since then, she has held numerous roles including: Vice President of the Restrictor Group; Vice President of the Industrial Microhydraulics Group; Executive Vice President; Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary before moving into her current role.
Before joining the family business, she worked in TV news in various roles, including an on-air correspondent for Court-TV covering the US Supreme Court and Justice Department, Producer for CBS News in its Washington, DC bureau, and Investigative Producer for ABC-owned KTRK in Houston, TX. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Georgetown University, a Juris Doctor Cum Laude from Catholic University, and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of New Haven.
Her professional associations include serving on the Yale New Haven Hospital Board of Directors, the Essex Savings Bank Board of Directors, and as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Business and Industry Association. She is also a member of the bars of Connecticut, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. She has been recognized as Alumni of the Year by both The Country School and the University of New Haven.

Jeff oversees the six hydraulic product groups at The Lee Company. His role includes developing and sharing best practices, managing processes and working toward continuous improvement.
Jeff started as a Project Engineer on the aerospace side of the company in 1982. Jeff and his group of engineers were instrumental in developing new products for the aerospace industry, such as shuttle valves, high pressure components, aerospace solenoid valves and even the Lee Chek® check valve that would spur the start of the Industrial Microhydraulics Group. Along the way, he has been awarded a number of co-patents. Jeff also developed many of the engineering and manufacturing systems and controls used in the aerospace groups.
Before beginning his career at The Lee Company, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Connecticut and attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Jeff takes pride in mentoring and educating the future leaders of The Lee Company. He has held key positions in community and industry organisations, including serving as President of the Exchange Club of Westbrook/Old Saybrook, Financial Secretary of the Westbrook Foundation and as Panel Chair and Secretary for the SAE A-6 Aerospace Actuation Committee. SAE is a professional association that develops standards for engineering professionals in the aerospace industry. The SAE A-6 Aerospace Actuation Committee addresses all aspects of aerospace flight and utility actuation and control systems as well as fluid power systems. Jeff is also the Assistant Curator of the Museum of Early Engineering Technology, located in Westbrook, CT.

Dan is responsible for overseeing both the Industrial Microhydraulics (IMH) and Electro-Fluidic Systems (EFS) divisions. The IMH division manufactures components for various automotive, off-highway, and industrial applications. The EFS division manufactures components used in medical equipment, diagnostics, and scientific instruments.
Dan supports the teams within each division by looking for ways to continuously improve, advocating for groups, sharing best practices, and innovating new solutions for customers.
Prior to joining The Lee Company, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from RPI at the Hartford Graduate Center with The Lee Company’s Tuition Assistance Plan.
Dan has been with The Lee Company for over 20 years and has experience in both engineering and management roles. Before becoming an Executive Vice President, Dan’s roles included Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Manager, Vice President of the PRI group, and Vice President of the Screen group.
Dan is very proud of his former Screen group team and their exceptional work on Lights Out Manufacturing (LOM), an automated manufacturing process enabling overnight production. Expanding LOM has benefited The Lee Company by enhancing safety, productivity, quality, and job enrichment. This was a major achievement that Dan oversaw and the efforts continue today in all areas of the company.

As Vice President of Human Resources, Richard oversees all aspects of the employee experience for the more than 1,000 employees at The Lee Company. He also provides executive oversight for strategic staffing plans, compensation and benefits, training and workforce development.
With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Relations from LeMoyne College, Richard has worked within The Lee Company’s HR department since 1984. Richard started with The Lee Company when there were approximately 275 employees and has been part of helping it grow to where it is today.
He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Employers Association of the NorthEast (EANE).
As Vice President of Sales, Ed is responsible for The Lee Company’s worldwide sales and marketing organisation – setting key business development and sales initiatives for the organisation, overseeing and managing the domestic technical sales force, the European subsidiaries, and foreign distribution channel partners.
Before starting his full-time career with The Lee Company in 1985, Ed worked as a summer intern in the hydraulic engineering group. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University, Ed began as an Applications Engineer in Westbrook, CT before moving to Los Angeles, CA to become a Technical Sales Engineer responsible for serving and supporting customers in the western states. He was promoted in 1988 and moved to Dallas, TX to become the Central Regional Sales Manager. A few years later, he accepted another promotion, which brought him back to Westbrook to become the Atlantic and Central Regional Sales Manager. He also held the post of Director of Sales for North America, South America, and Asia before his current role as Vice President.
Ed is a member of SAE International, a professional association that develops standards for engineering professionals in the aerospace industry. He is also a board member of all five of The Lee Company’s European subsidiaries.

Alex is responsible for overseeing all of the financial functions at The Lee Company, including risk management, economic strategy, forecasting and corporate reporting.
Before joining The Lee Company in 2009, Alex spent 25 years working in the Hartford, CT office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), including 12 years as an Assurance Services Partner. In this role, he was responsible for the office’s Private Company Services practice.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from Western New England University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also served on the Emerging Issues Task Force of the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

Stefano oversees The Lee Company’s sales organization in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region, and India. This includes the company’s five subsidiaries in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Scandinavia and agents and distributors in Benelux, Israel, and India. Stefano works with major companies across the territories to provide support and guidance and works closely with country managers.
He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan before joining The Lee Company in 1999. He also served as the Regional Manager for Lee SRL. before becoming General Manager.
Stefano helped implement the current enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for Lee SRL.’s operations, which provided him with a deeper understanding of the operational process improving the efficiency of every single step from start to finish. He believes it gave him a greater insight into how the smallest details are essential to providing the high quality products customers require.
As General Manager of The Lee Company Scandinavia AB, Marko is responsible for providing customer support as well as sales, marketing, and distribution of The Lee Company’s range of products throughout Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and C.I.S countries.
Marko has a Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Technology from EVTEK University of Applied Sciences, along with an Information Technology Technician degree from Lohja College. Before joining The Lee Company as a Sales Engineer in 2003, Marko served as a Second Lieutenant Officer in the Finnish Army for 11 months. He also worked as a Business Area Manager for Oy Optoparameter AB. In this role, he oversaw the mechanical component product line, including micro and nano positioning devices, lasers, camera systems, ceramic components, and lights, as well as components for pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including The Lee Company’s valves and air pumps. Because of Marko’s extensive experience with The Lee Company’s products and his technical and business skills, in 2019, he was promoted to Sales Manager Nordic Region.
The Lee Plug® is Marko’s favorite product, as it signifies the beginning of The Lee Company’s journey, and it still maintains its status as an integral part of any hydraulic system.

As General Manager of Lee Hydraulische Miniaturkomponenten GmbH, Juergen is responsible for The Lee Company’s product distribution and customer support in Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and parts of Switzerland.
He started at The Lee Company in 1993 as a Technical Sales Engineer and began working as General Manager in 2005.
His favorite Lee product line is the Industrial Microhydraulics 558 Check Valve, which is a game-changer in industrial and automotive hydraulic applications. He also participated in introducing the Industrial Microhydraulics Betaplug® into one of the world’s largest automotive OEM’s oil pump, a multi-country project that lasted several years.
As General Manager of Lee Company S.A., Hervé is responsible for providing customer support as well as the sale and distribution of Lee products throughout France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and French-speaking Switzerland. He oversees Technical Sales Engineers at offices near Versailles and Toulouse in France as well as in Madrid, Spain.
Hervé has a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology with a specialty in Physical Measurements from The University of Toulouse in France. Before joining The Lee Company as a Sales Engineer in 2002, he was in charge of export sales for a manufacturing company specialized in miniature tubing for industrial and medical applications. In 2018, Herve was promoted to European Technical Sales Manager where he has been involved with several major applications for various types of industries across Europe.
His favorite Lee product is the IEP Series solenoid valve because it is a unique solution that offers very high performance at a very small size across applications in many different industries.

As General Manager of Lee Products Limited, Mike is responsible for providing customer support as well as the sales, marketing and distribution of The Lee Company’s range of products. He oversees all areas of operation for the UK offices, including sales, human resources, staff management, advertising, quality, finance and facilities management.
He graduated with honors from Aston University in Birmingham, England, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining The Lee Company in 1989, he worked as a Project Leader at Lucas Aerospace in the Engine Systems Division, overseeing design and development engineers on fuel pumps and control systems for small gas turbine engines. He took over as General Manager in 1996 and helped grow sales and distribution significantly. Under his guidance, the company achieved accreditation to ISO9001 which they have maintained since 1999.
He is proud of his role in helping with the in-house development and launch of Lee HPHT Pumps. These high pressure, high temperature pumps were released after Mike helped identify a need for oil tool customers that required miniature high pressure hydraulic pumps and took part in in-house development.

As a General Manager of Lee SRL, Gianni is responsible for customer technical support as well as the sales, marketing, and distribution of The Lee Company’s range of products. He oversees all operations for the Italian office, including human resources, staff, and facilities management.
He graduated with a Master’s degree in Management Engineering from Polytechnic University of Milan. Prior to joining The Lee Company in June 2023, Gianni gained valuable experience in supply chain management, program management, and technical sales coordination in hydraulics and fuel systems by working for Mecaer Aviation Group and Secondo Mona SpA.
Gianni is honored to contribute his knowledge and experience within the aerospace industry, to help The Lee Company continue to grow in this market.
