Position: IT Systems Manager         

Location: Westbrook, CT | Full Time

Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of computer science and technology, database systems and a wide variety of software/hardware programs used in manufacturing.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot and perform systems analysis, determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills.
  • High level of math and writing skill.
  • Significant software, hardware, integration, and product/production acumen.
  • High level of reasoning and decision making.
  • Ability to effectively work in teams. Ability to influence and lead others.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor appropriate security procedures to safeguard system from physical harm and viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data.
  • Manage the development and support of applicable IT systems.
  • Interface directly with end-users, developers, and other IT staff.
  • Develop, program, and maintain integrated hardware/software systems to increase intranet efficiencies throughout the organization.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain software and hardware systems, including connectivity with internet and intranet.
  • Interact effectively with all departments and provide real time support to meet business needs. Work with third party providers as needed.
