Project Engineers at The Lee Company support our customers from their initial request through the development process and ultimately into production. This position is responsible for regularly communicating with design engineers and procurement teams, meeting with customers to understand needs and present new solutions, developing new business opportunities, and growing sales.
Drafters at The Lee Company work as part of the Chief Engineer’s team, employing sound drafting techniques to alter layouts and detail more complex drawings to suit engineering changes and initiate change orders using computer aided drafting programs in addition to manual drafting techniques.
CNC Machinists at The Lee Company create complex machined parts working with part drawings, job layouts and specifications to perform operations that include drilling, milling, turning, grinding, and facing. Setting up and operating high-tech machines, they work from detailed instructions using standard coding, in a state of the art, air conditioned environment, utilizing cutting edge technology.
Sales Engineers at The Lee Company actively engage with our customers to solve engineering problems that result in the development of new products. Continually seeking business development opportunities, Sales Engineers look to apply The Lee Company solutions to applications in a wide range of industries including aerospace, space, automotive, scientific instruments, diagnostics, oil and gas equipment, motorsports, and more.
Assemblers/Testers perform sub and final assembly of a variety of products, often using assembly jigs and fixtures to maintain tolerances. They work from drawings, routing sheets and work instructions to follow the specific methods and procedures of each assembly and can use hand tools and/or simple machine tools to perform operations and assembly functions. Testing requires the set up and monitoring of automated assembly or test equipment.
Inspectors at The Lee Company work with a variety of precision measuring and testing equipment including the programing and operation of complex automated inspection equipment. They plan and lay out new fixtures and tools as required and log or transact all required data in appropriate databases and programs.
