Nozzles for Everything from Lubrication to Medication

Here at The Lee Company, we offer three primary varieties of nozzles:

Lubrication jets provide a straight, well-defined stream for cooling and lubrication. These are popular for engines and gearboxes in aerospace, automotive, industrial, and gas turbine applications.

Atomizing nozzles create a spray pattern. They may be used in engines to assist with combustion for cars or airplanes or in medical and industrial industries for applying coatings.

Droplet dispensing nozzles are used to prepare samples for genetic testing or scanning electron microscopy in diagnostic and scientific applications.

Over half of the products we offer are designed for the unique needs of a specific application. Nozzles can be designed in custom envelopes, materials, and configurations with unique flow rates, flow patterns, pressure capabilities, and more. Lee Lubrication Jets

Lee lubrication jets generate a straight, well-defined stream of fluid to a predetermined target with differential pressures of 10 to 200 psid. Lee lubrication jets are 100% tested for capture efficiency, guaranteeing that over 90% of flow will hit a predetermined target 2 inches away. These products are ideal for directing streams of lubricating oil at critical bearings, cooling oil at meshing gears, or fuel inside vaporizing tubes in aircraft combustion chambers. Lubrication jets are available in multiple sizes and Lohm rates and with an integral safety screen.

Atomizing Nozzles

Atomizing nozzles are available in both air-assisted and airless designs. They provide a specified spray pattern that can be used to assist in combustion in fuel systems or for applying a coating in medical applications.

Dispensing Nozzles

Dispensing nozzles are designed for low volume dispensing, ranging from nanoliter droplets to precise dosing of milliliters at a time. These dispensing nozzles are available with orifice sizes as small as 0.003 of an inch (0.07 mm) and are optimized for the clean ejection of perfectly formed droplets. Our nozzles achieve their best performance when coupled with our dispensing valves, such as Lee VHS Series valves, which are fast enough to provide near-digital control of fluids. Our dispense nozzles include threaded MINSTAC® connectors for easy integration and service. In addition, these nozzles can be supplied in a hypodermic tube configuration for installation into high-density dispensing manifolds.
