PRECISION LIQUID AND GAS PUMPS for Medical Applications

Lee pumps are engineered to provide maximum reliability and precision fluid control while reducing size and weight. Each pump is customizable and 100% tested to ensure reliable, consistent, long-term performance. With our solutions, system designers are empowered to improve throughput and bring innovative, cutting-edge technology to a variety of medical applications.

Our miniature, silent, lightweight, piezoelectric disc pumps generate accurate pneumatic pressure and vacuum, enabling precise, ultra-smooth, high resolution control over gases or liquids (indirectly). Their small size, light weight, and quiet operation enhance patient comfort in a variety of applications including portable and wearable solutions for compression therapy, blood pressure monitoring, breath analysis, and MRI-compatible equipment. Since quieter fluidic components result in a more realistic training experience, these silent micropumps also provide a significant advantage in patient simulators.

Our highly reliable fixed and variable volume dispense pumps are ideal for positive fluid displacement applications in medical instruments, where fine control over the dispense resolution is critical. Boasting high precision volumetric aspirating and dispensing, exceptional accuracy, and an extensive life, these maintenance-free pumps allow you to handle challenging fluids, minimize system downtime, and position the pump where the system’s fluidics dictate, regardless of accessibility.

PIEZOELECTRIC DISC PUMPS

With the recent acquisition of TTP Ventus, we are pleased to add the Disc Pump to our portfolio of precision pumps. These highly precise pneumatic micropumps generate pressure or vacuum in a small (29 mm), silent, vibration-free form factor. Their infinite turndown ratio and pulsation-free flow allow control over gases or liquids (indirectly) with incredibly fine resolution, enabling a multitude of innovative applications. They are available with or without electronics for added simplicity. Available in five different product series, these innovative pumps are ideal for a wide range of medical, life science, and environmental monitoring applications, including microfluidics, pipetting, wearable devices, and portable sensing technologies.

Fixed Volume Dispense Pumps

Fixed volume dispense pumps are solenoid-driven, chemically inert positive displacement pumps which provide accurate and repeatable dispense volumes ranging from 25 to 175 µL in a small, lightweight package. Lee fixed volume pumps require a simple electrical signal for operation – the pumps aspirate fluid when energized and dispense fluid when de-energized. Integrated check valves, together with our unique housing design and diaphragm seal interface, prevent siphoning when the dispense point is positioned above the fluid reservoir.

Variable Volume Dispense Pumps

Variable volume precision dispense pumps are stepper-motor driven, positive displacement pumps that aspirate a volume of fluid and then dispense that fluid volume out in smaller, highly precise increments, with full dispense volumes ranging from 50 to 3000 μL.These pumps are maintenance-free and have an extensive life, so you can minimize downtime and position the pump where the system’s fluidics dictate, regardless of accessibility. Each pump is equipped with a home sensor to establish the end of stroke position. Some models also contain an optical encoder which provides feedback on motor movement. These pumps are available in a single seal or dual seal configuration which utilizes two seals and two fluidic chambers to reliably control more challenging fluids across an extensive cycle life.
