Lee Etched Safety Screens feature a seamless, one-piece, 304L CRES screen element formed with pleats to greatly increase the dirt carrying capacity of the screen. The result is a robust screen design with an optimum amount of protection in a small package. Lee etched safety screens are offered with several standard hole sizes including 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 380, and 500 microns. Lee TWIS Safety Screens have a single body design that includes an etched safety screen and an integral retention spring. Easily removable, the “TWIS” style of installation is readily twisted in or out of the bore for inspection or cleaning. Suited for unidirectional flow, Lee TWIS Safety Screens are meant for use in a 0.187″ diameter installation hole.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
Always verify flow calculations by experiment.
