This direct-acting valve is ideally suited for high pressure hydraulic applications (up to 5000 psi) where a fast opening safety relief valve is needed to prevent system damage from pressure spikes. Minimum cracking pressures are available from 3000-5900 psid. An integral safety screen is available for added protection.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
Always verify flow calculations by experiment.
