Lee Brass HI-BAR Safety Screens are made entirely from brass, per ASTM B16/B16M. Individually drilled and deburred by proprietary manufacturing processes, these safety screens feature an extremely robust, one-piece design without joints or seams. These screens combine a high strength design with a material that has a high resistance to ignition and combustion, as well as excellent corrosion resistance. Depending on size, this combination of features results in a screen design that can withstand fully clogged pressure differentials of 1000 psid to 4500 psid without rupture. These brass HI-BAR safety screens are available in a wide range of standard hole sizes from 50 to 500 micron. Lee Flange Mount HI-BAR Safety Screens incorporate a simple, flange mounting configuration and are available in six flange sizes ranging from 0.130″ to 0.670″ in diameter.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
