Lee Etched Safety Screens feature a seamless, one-piece, 304L CRES screen element formed with pleats to greatly increase the dirt carrying capacity of the screen. The result is a robust screen design with an optimum amount of protection in a small package. Lee etched safety screens are offered with several standard hole sizes including 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 380, and 500 microns. Lee L-4 Etched Safety Screens combine a Lee expansion end with a robust, one-piece screen element. Featuring three locking fingers that are expanded outward locking the screen in a fluid passageway, this allows for a low cost installation hole where no support shoulder is required. In addition, the L-4 technique permits easy removal for inspection or cleaning. Lee L-4 Etched Safety Screens are available in two different body diameters, 0.187″ and 0.281″.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
