IMH 558 Series 316L Pressure Relief Valves are 5.5 mm diameter threadless, cartridge-style valves that are constructed from Medical Grade 316L stainless steel and feature a ceramic ball for significantly improved compatibility with aggressive fluids. These valves also use The Lee Company’s field-proven insert principle that provides secure retention without the need for threads, O-rings or sealants and are designed for installation into metal manifolds. These valves contain a high-quality metal seat providing low leakage and long life. The valves guided ball design ensures fast response, low hysteresis and highly repeatable cracking pressures.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
